The Bloomberg Platform: I'm rich it's my turn
Also, did anyone see him suddenly get amnesia when asked about the Central Park Five recently? "Apparently", the DNA evidence exonerated them.

Re: Election 2020
he has run an honest successful business he built from scratch. he managed the most complex city in the world, well, for years. he is socially progressive. he is generous with his wealth. he promotes environmental causes. he has respect for rule of law. he wants to help save this country from eating its own shit again. i wish he would take enough donations to join the debate, so that the silo-ed left could hear him speak and contrast directly with the other candidates. but alas, they will have to settle for him generously offering up $500 million of his not-ill-gotten-gains to fight trump in the states that matter the most. like a wealthy grandfather looking out for his children, the silo-ed left can continue cannibalizing itself over trivial subjective hyper-progressive 'nice-to-haves', while he makes sure someone is tangibly influencing the states where the Dem candidate barely visited and lost her the election last time (the 'must haves')

Suggesting a billionaire became a billionaire honestly and not by trampling on people every step of the way is absurd.

I wonder how much Trump will selflessly spend to ensure Bloomberg isn't president.

Re: Election 2020
Has he even mentioned Bloomberg? Definitely hasn't given him a nickname. Bloomberg's base is from what I can gather just RM. Not high priority I'm guessing.

Re: Election 2020
Maybe he'd be the greatest president ever, but I have no idea where his base is supposed to come from. Dem voters may want electability, but I'm sure they actually want their ideology pushed forward too. He doesn't remotely represent most of them.
And there aren't a ton of never-trumpers waiting for someone to save them either. People who think Bill Kristol or Jennifer Rubin actually represent some huge silent majority (and aren't just controlled opposition) watch too much network TV.

Re: Election 2020
I don’t know what it really looks like in the modern political era for a president to fail to get to a second term. It makes the prospects and understanding the public’s limits an enticing concept going into 2020. The last president not to be re-elected was Bush, and he even was affected by Perot. So the last president to unabashedly lose their re-election outright was Carter - 40 years ago.
From that alone, it’s impossible to tell where this goes. With give or take a 42% or so approval rating that isn’t likely to budge, what happens? In three years his approval rating I do not believe even touched 50%, and this isn’t just a symbol of our fractured time since Obama spent a lot of his presidency with strong approval numbers.

I'm not sure how that follows your post unless you stopped read after the initial graphic. The polling data is a bit old, it's possible those states have swung left in the last 90 days.
