nbc using the chloe dancer intro as background music during the discussion of the seattle running back injury plight got a laugh out of me.

of the three other teams left in the nfc, i feel the 49ers present the vikings the best chance of winning. i think the game will be very similar to the saints game, and hopefuly the vikings can go on to win that one, too.

Why, at 40 years old and in his first playoff game, he thought it was a good time to become a running QB I have no fucking idea.

I was listening to some folks talk football on the metro today and the scuttlebutt is that our local squad has a good chance of catching the Chiefs off guard this Sunday. I'll update this thread with the final score if that happens. Stay tuned.

at this point the Cousins' curse may have been lifted. you might get Matrix-Neo-Cousins where he goes Aspergers for 4 TDs and 98% completion rate. no one knows.... what does vegas think?

and what's the over/under on the number of times they show the 49ers DC? I'd say at least 148 times.

These are almost a pick ‘em for me, other than the Chiefs victory.

MN is hot and Mike Shanahan knows Cousins well, having drafted him. Should be a good matchup. I wouldnt sleep on MN at this point if the Defense steps up.

Everyone wants to sleep on TN but there is something special about beating the Patriots in the playoffs. But at the same time, BAL could just rip off 50 points.

I think GB comes out strong but Seattle eeks out a win. Wilson is a scrapper in the playoffs and a really stubborn guy to beat.

Should all be some good games. If HOU shows up they can def make a game of it vs. KC

As a Niner fan I’m not sleeping on the Vikings AT ALL. Minn beat NO in NO which means they are capable of beating any team. I’m betting on last week being Minn’s peak for the season. It’s gonna be a close game. If the niners offensive line doesn’t protect Jimmy then the niners are in trouble.

Here’s to a healthy game without controversy. May the best team win.

I don't feel good about any of my picks. These could all be super close and should be very competitive games.

I was primarily a 49er fan as kid because of the Montana/Rice era. I became a Chiefs fan after moving to KC (lived all over and moved around a lot before that). Still like them but they aren't "my team" anymore.

I've always liked the Vikings. So I'm really looking forward to that game. Ultimately, I kinda want the Vikings to win but I'll be happy either way.

The real question is how much money have the State Farm lobbyists spent to insure a Chiefs/Packers Super Bowl?
