This is a tough one...I'm happy with some of the songs. Not all of them. SBM ofcourse. This is a really really terrible version. I had this feeling it was done by some backroom coverband. Na, Come Back wasn't a fun rock 'n roll song with hand claps. That was a slow dance prom ballad.

I can't remember which reviewer it was, but one of them said it was pretty much the same except for drums. They didn't hate it but not much had changed. It's hard to hate that, really. The most worrying review of the song so far was this one: "terrible version".
yeah, they aren't so much hating the song (who could? it's a great song) as they are its placement and existence at all on the record. it sounds like it was a pointless inclusion just as some had already speculated and it also sounds like it disrupts the flow on the record. if we missed out on another song being included instead because of bo'b that'd be disappointing.

i was hoping for the mention of real possibilities, harmful.
I think that at the very least, this album will be eclectic, with lots to chew on. It will feel like a stylistic mess, probably, but that could be very cool.

Does it seem terrible or pointless because it's like an unremarkable copy? Or because it's totally different and he's stuck moo cows and a tractor all over it? Is it wildly 'fixed'?

Not a return to any previous form but hopefully a suitable evolution. While they want to be a bloody pop band I'm having to review my hopes. If the themes are consistent, the eclecticism could work.
