Clearly he doesnt have the chops or cahonas that Rian Johnson had.
It is fun, but I'm not sure it is much else. I have a lot of feelings about this movie.

I don’t agree with everything he said, but I do agree that it’s the best movie in the sequel trilogy.

I had a huge smile on my face through most of the movie, I laughed a ton, and I left the theater totally jazzed. That’s a win as far as I’m concerned. I already preordered the 4K SteelBook and I’m looking forward to seeing it again. Not giving a shit about fans or previous films is how this trilogy should have been operating all along.

I’d look at that as a good thing. If it Left you feckless or indifferent or even pissed that would be different

I can't recall the last time I was "pissed" by a movie/television show. It's just not something I feel after watching something.

We’re not gonna bother establishing or explaining fucking ANYTHING, who gives a shit?” That begins to feel liberating through its sheer idiocy.
¨were are not even gonna try and we really made a mess of this ¨ are two great lines when it comes to this one.

The overwhelmingly corporate cynicism and desire to not take any chances makes it impossible to enjoy for it's stupidity. JJ Abrams is too boring and safe to ever make something so bad it's good.

This isn't a movie that says "fuck it, we already screwed up so let's go crazy". It says "we fucked up so let's just milk what we can out of it."

I dont think they are thinking ¨we screwed this thing¨. I bet JJ gave his best and really tried. But he also had fun, that shows too.
