I, too, loved it. But its clear to see all that is wrong with it.

I can't wait to watch them all back to back.

I felt this and I don’t agree with all of it but it develops strats point. I can totally see the flaws in this. But the whole, works for me and has all the fun of Star Wars(that’s as it’s meant to be) and bigger feels than at that came previously. And I’m a sucker for big feels

I can see (hear) the similarity but that's mitigated by the fact I have very little confidence it was intentional.

Williams wove a lot of other themes into Rey's theme. The more cynical out there will tell you it was because he knew at some point she'd be connected to someone/some bloodline but he didn't know for sure which. So there are multiple references in her theme to provide connectivity to whatever the eventual outcome would be. There's like whole YouTube videos about it.

I can’t speak to the intentionality of it but I’m disappointed to discover someone spotted it back in 2016

I can’t hear any other theme within hers apart from a Palpatines though tbh

The phantom menace fits the events and story of TROS better than its given title

Anakin Skywalker is discovered and becomes a Jedi padawan - rise of skywalker
Emperor Palpatine has mysteriously returned and threatened the galaxy - phantom menace

That's just because it is the same thing. Secret bad guy, who is it? Oh, Palpatine again.
