I always felt like the web shooter thing was a bit too coincidental. He gets spider powers plus he also happens to invent web shooting gadgets? NOT BLOODY LIKELY.

I like the idea of natural web shooters. I also like the idea of Peter being genius enough to invent the webs with a little altered genetic predisposition showing him the way. Both are perfectly cromulent examples
