They are good yeah, but they are as good as any solo material from Frank Black. These songs need Kim´s backing voices along with her playing.harmless wrote:

Frank Black has some amazing solo albums, some of them are more country oriented, most of them seem like work the could have done with The Pixies as well.

Apparently there could be up to 4 eps, this the title EP1. Though there's no confirmation of when the second is released.
