Gigaton: Official album thread

Does anyone remember the random post from some guy who had the goods on Riot Act before it came out back in 2002? He posted on the band's site with a very vivid account of the album sound. I actually found the post, younger lowlight79 was so excited, he printed it out and I found that piece of paper this morning in an old box.

It'd behoove you to scan and post that piece of paper.

it goes into how this is an exciting time and the album is raw with anger but has moment of other things. It kinda of reminded me of how people used to get really excited for a record. As the time has gotten longer between albums, that has gone away in my opinion, it's only natural. it's at home, i'll post it when I can.

Somehow PJ listened to the feedback and decided to halt the album. Bob was pushed out. Then, either some or many new tracks were written or recorded or remixed.

Gigaton will be amazing (MASSIVE SPECULATION) because PJ listened.

I’ve never really pushed it before and I’m going to stay clandestine about it still ... but I’m personally going to take some credit for this, legitimately. I know someone.

Who would have known the ‘General Pearl Jam Bitching’ thread could have such a monumental impact on the future of the band, and the climate, and by extension, the fate of mankind.
