Re: The Official GIGATON Thread
in the context of the song, "we could something else" is not a lazy placeholder lyric, rather, he's saying we could/should do anything else than have belief in something that doesn't force us to look deeper while we're actually here.

Yes I understand what it means, it's still awkward and stupid sounding

this one is truly baffling.theplatypus wrote:Also: "we could something else."
he could have easily thrown another word in there to have it make sense.. "do", "try".. something monosyllabic

Much as Pearl Jam album announcements/releases are signposts in my life, so are the surrounding weeks when I pop in here and see how everyone's been feeling for the past three or six years.Buby wrote:Or maybe even before 2013bune wrote:better question is what do those people who have had accounts since 2013 but only post for new albums think. it's much like visiting a land-locked tide pool once every seven years and being surprised at the mutations that have taken place.Strat wrote:All these newcomers showing up for gigaton have nooooooooo idea what they’ve gotten themselves intoE.H. Right. My decline in activity on here correlates with kids. I'm at 3 under 6 now... new music was a good excuse to neglect them for a bit.Buby wrote: Or maybe even before 2013
