Now we wait. 4 days is pretty ridiculous.

I turn 40 today. I'm going to spend today hoping I get an email from a fan club that I joined roughly 25 years ago. This is not a good start to my 40s.

At least today we will learn what that 99% really means from those north of the wall.

I guess they’re verifying 4 shows a day if all the Canadian gigs are supposed to find out today?

If they don't do it in order of MSG/Baltimore 1st not sure how they do it at all if they had us prioritize it. For instance, If I put MSG 1st, San Diego 2nd, and I get San Diego cause they run that lotto first, do I go behind everyone else for MSG that had MSG 1st but hadn't won any tickets yet? Cause that makes no sense. But it's 10 Club and it's been 25 years of making no sense.

They do it by show, not by person. The 10C has been very transparent on how this works. For any given show, they satisfy the #1 priorities first, if there are tickets remaining, then they satisfy the #2 priorities and so on. The process is simple. Your likelihood of success with MSG has no bearing on your success with SD. They are independent events.

Got it. I guess I'm skeptical the system won't prioritize MSG #1's who HAVE NOT gotten other seats fulfilled yet vs MSG #1's who have.

Made perfect sense to me under the old system, but do we know how the GA vs reserved works under this new system? 'Best available' changes things slightly.

Why are you worried about that? That would actually take much more work on their end to screw people.

It probably means the published odds for RES are too high, but not sure what else it would mean.

My most simple interpretation is: you are in the GA draw and if you don't get selected, then you are placed in the reserved draw. Choosing best should count against both odds.

Yah pretty sure that's all it means; they do GA first as they assume that's preferred for everyone.

The Acela crew shows up again.
It's pretty damn impressive that all but two of these shows will be able to accommodate everyone who requested fan club tickets.

I think it's cause Ticketmaster is handling it so in theory pretty much every reserved seat will go to Fan Club members (if needed).

Now, considering ticketmasters practices and monopolies, how does pearl jam get away with this? What kind of partnership happens for them to allocate so many to their fan club?

They can guarantee those seats and Ticketmaster gets to collect their $20 a ticket in service charges?
