I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Oh shit, the FULL SNL catalog?! That’s huge, I hate how limited Hulu’s is (I’ve seen all the ones they have multiples times at this point). Hopefully they aren’t edited like the older ones on Hulu.

The SNL catalog is the only thing that interests me at this point.

Yeah, I don’t expect the music - I just want all the sketches and monologues restored.tragabigzanda wrote:yeah, i haven't seen any word yet on the extent to which these may be edited. I suspect that they'll still be missing a lot of musical performances due to rights issues.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Oh shit, the FULL SNL catalog?! As the streaming services splinter I've also noticed I'm watching less "tv" than before. I'm as likely to go down the YouTube rabbit hole on any given night than watch traditional tv and when I do watch a show it's more likely to be something that can stand alone (documentary, talk show, stand up, etc) than a traditional scripted series.

If they can pull in the library and do SNL-centric documentaries and it’s cheap enough, I may just take the plunge. I’ve been dying to watch seasons 6-10 since they released 1-5 on DVD.tragabigzanda wrote:This is very speculative, but it's the best info I've seen on the matter:LoathedVermin72 wrote:Yeah, I don’t expect the music - I just want all the sketches and monologues restored.tragabigzanda wrote:yeah, i haven't seen any word yet on the extent to which these may be edited. Will NBC Finally Do Justice to the SNL Library?

Oh. And “The Mighty Hercules” sketch with Bill Murray as Hercules. I’ve been looking for that one for years online, to no avail.
