Mine always do too and then . . . it comes out. Like Christmas Eve, the anticipation is the best part. At least for a few fleeting moments, I think this could be the album that will cause the band to once again enthrall me. I know better. I do. And yet I cannot help it. But even if Gigaton is akin to "Lightning Bolt 2: Too Lightning, Too Bolt," this anticipation now is still such a gift almost 30 years in. I'm going to try to remember this over the next two months. Who knows if it will come again?

Definitely a different vibe this time around than when they sent Brendan out to hype Lightning Bolt:

https://www.billboard.com/articles/news ... track-list
"Lightning Bolt" producer Brendan O'Brien, who also plays keys on "Future Days," tells Billboard that "Mind Your Manners" is the "tip of the iceberg" of what listeners can expect. He calls out the song "Sirens" as a highlight, and describes it by saying, "I wouldn't call it a ballad but there's a depth to it."

"Lightning Bolt" is Pearl Jam's 10th studio album and it's and the band's first studio effort since 2009's "Backspacer." "I think it's a great representation of their work right now," O'Brien says of the new album. "If you like Pearl Jam, you'll love this. And if you haven't listened to Pearl Jam in awhile, I think it's going to bring you in. That's the whole idea."

Fans will have to keep waiting for a studio version of "Of The Earth," however. The song, which the band has only played live, is not on "Lightning Bolt." "Whether that'll show up at some point, I'm not sure," O'Brien says.

Weird that he wouldn't call "Sirens" a ballad

“I think it's a great representation of their work right now” is a hilarious way to hype their work right now

i'm working with some of RM's upper brass to create an exam that gives you punning privileges. one will only be allowed to make puns if or when they pass the entry examination.

instructions will be posted in a separate thread.
