What are the rumors?
It looks like people who picked BA were shut out from shows while others who had RES for the same show as their 3rd or 4th option got in.
My theory is that when you pick BA, it counts as GA as your first choice, but if you don't get GA, you're sent to the back of the line for RES seating (so behind people who have it as 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice, etc.). Nothing confirmed, but hopefully we know before the fall tour.

It sure sounds like, whatever the setup, that the "99%" for reserved did not count the people who lose GA but picked BA.
This seems like a pretty big oversight on Ten Club's part in communicating that.
What if you only had two shows selected? Seems like it would be more of a problem for those chose 4 or more shows?
There's a very long thread from a guy who picked BA for both Toronto and Hamilton and got shut out for both. I do feel bad for him if the odds weren't entirely accurate. If it's true that the RES odds aren't the real RES odds, then MSG is going to be an even bigger shitshow than people thought.

Not following... the rumor was that when GA is gone, everyone who picked BA is rejected until all RES at that priority are fulfilled
What I mean is that those shows with 99% RES odds may not have been really 99% RES odds, that maybe it was 99% based on the number of people who picked RES only, and that once the BA-GA losers get thrown in the RES pot, the odds drop lower. I think people were counting on, "Well, GA is only 60%, but RES in 99%, so if I pick BA I am guaranteed a seat!"
Pure speculation based on what people are reporting. I've never really played these sorts of odds; Fenway doesn't have GA, as you know, so the last two lotteries I just tried to put whatever day had worse odds as my #1.

Gotcha. I think that is likely as well.

I’m lucky enough to have won LA 1 and 2 best available. Of course, my card got hacked this week so it got cancelled and my transaction was declined.
The wording in the email was odd and it may have cost me my seniority, if not prayfully GA.
“We Are Holding Tickets For You Until TUESDAY EVENING
Ten Club is holding a limited amount tickets throughout the venue to accommodate members with credit card declines.”
Oh well. At least they have the ticket exchange to get face value back if I need to upgrade.
i guess with 700,000 fan club members now, this type of shit is bound to happen
and not easy to manage

haha only 10 club has a 25 year record of fucking everything up, if this is true. and i'm sure it's true. i'm old enough to remember the "block" seating and people having to wait hours on line cause they were too lazy to put pairs in envelopes. that was one of many 10 club failures, too many to count. so many could have been fixed with a little bit of thoughtfulness.
