Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Parasite is up for both. Pain and Glory is only Foreign Language. But I personally think Pain and Glory is the best film of the year (that I've see, obviously).

When I watched it, had no idea it was a Michael Bay movie. There were some incredible sequences in this. 4 making his way down the building in Hong Kong was amazing.

I was watching this and that first car chase had me thinking "man, I wish LV were here so I could see the look of joy on his face." The only part that I didn't like was how goofy Ryan played his role only to have him disarm someone at a pro level and have #7 say "we're going to have to talk about this" and they never do but he goes back to being goofy #1. that was literally the only part of the movie I had an issue with because it stopped being a ridiculous movie and took itself seriously for a few seconds so it took you out of what was going on.

also: have you watched The Man Who Killed Don Quixote? That's the other movie I watched with WWLVD in my mind because it's so...improper...for what a film should be and do throughout.

I adore the original. But I never saw the second one. Which is stupid. I'm dying to see three though it's not Bay.
