Re: 2020 Tour (Rumors) (aka Gig A Ton) (aka Gigatour)
was there a priority of shows in play here? people are talking about how some of their requests for sections at shows that won are 4th and 5th priority whereas people are losing with 2nd priority (they even mentioned dragging shows to prioritize them). what did I miss? It wouldn’t have mattered for me anyway because I only requested 2 shows.
Also, I still have yet to get any email one way or another on Oakland 2. I thought that was done yesterday.

Copper, you have thoughts on the BA controversy?

Re: 2020 Tour (Rumors) (aka Gig A Ton) (aka Gigatour)
It worries me. I selected RES for all of my selections though. If a person gets rejected for a 2nd Priority BA, then no one should win a 3rd Priority BA, GA or RES. There are examples out there that contradict that very important detail. That defies the 10C lottery methodology. That's a major and serious issue.Bi_3 wrote:Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:What time have the drawings been starting?CopperTom wrote:Baltimore, New York, Nashville, St. Louis today.

The losses of entries with odds of 99% shouldn't happen. That's a failure of reporting, I guess.

It could get bad for MSG if each option for BA is really treated as separate prioritiesCopperTom wrote:It worries me. I selected RES for all of my selections though. Re: 2020 Tour (Rumors) (aka Gig A Ton) (aka Gigatour)
wouldn’t the odds change after the first pull?
at that point, all the unfilled orders get pushed to the other shows, which then shrinks their odds further

Also, lets not forget, there are roughly 700,000 fan club members? what % of those actually post on the pit?

i wonder if the bots figured out a way to crack this
or maybe they just didn’t properly test / UAT the allocation algorithm before it went live

No. Only a fraction of the 700,000 10C numbers distributed are actually active.Strat wrote:Also, lets not forget, there are roughly 700,000 fan club members? what % of those actually post on the pit?

That would be tough. Most likely scenarios:96583UP wrote:i wonder if the bots figured out a way to crack this

1.) Nothing is wrong and it's behaving as expected but people are complaining anyway
2.) The BA picks didnt change the posted odds, but otherwise the draws are working as expected
3.) BA is getting treated as one pick for GA and one pick for RES, so if you had BA and they we out of GA you have to wait until all the other picks at that priority are over before getting RES

Re: 2020 Tour (Rumors) (aka Gig A Ton) (aka Gigatour)
I’m leaning a bit towards 1 & 2. Results are close to expected with a few outliers. Honestly, I will lose my shit if I lose an entry that showed 99%. I can take losing, but I won’t be able to accept that.Bi_3 wrote:That would be tough. Most likely scenarios:96583UP wrote:i wonder if the bots figured out a way to crack this
