I agree. S/T aged great and has actual good songs. BS has aged terribly, and so has LB for that matter. S/T is a much better record than those two.

conceptually/thematically S/T and even backspacer belong with the first 7 records (with Backspacer serving as something of a conclusion to a journey that starts with Ten). Lightning Bolt is for better or worse a middle aged record. whether it is a stand alone thing or not remains to be seen
