so it turns out that they’re still having issues with LA and Oakland — coincidently the two cities with two shows. it seems that they disregarded the people that won the first night from consideration of the second nights, often times awarding the second nights to people that had them as their 4th, 5th, and even 6th priorities over those disregarded ones that had the shows as their 2nd priorities.

thanks TM.

I'd like to thank you all for being the unwilling guinea pigs for this so hopefully the fall will run smoothly. You're like the monkeys that got shot into space.

I chose BA for three consecutive shows and went 3/3. Lucky I guess but all three had 99% reserve.

In a slighty different reality (where the processes are all explained in full ahead of time, and Pearl Jam tours frequently) the idea that you can win for one show in a city with multiple shows but then get pushed to the back of the line for the 2nd show wouldn't be a bad idea.

Is this online sleuthing or a legit message they sent out (totally believable though)
"The fatal flaw of all revolutionaries is that they know how to tear things down but don't have a f**king clue about how to build anything."

Hoping they cram in a Australia tour before Europe. It's feasible yet unlikely. All Australia tours are in our warmer months (for surfing).

If the second US tour runs late August to early October, November in Australia will look probable.

I can corroborate as I got a conformation for the first show and have heard nothing about the second. No confirmation or rejection.

November 2020 or Feb 2021 would be most likely.

1995 - March
1998 - March
2003 - Feb
2006 - Nov
2009 - Nov
2014 - Jan/Feb

That's not many tours in 30 years.

A declined card for LA will be resolved by Tuesday night.

Probably a lot of members of the Jamily that don't know how odds work for the NYC show.

what could they possibly be upset about?

- Annual Single always mailed out timely, annually
- Deep magazine always mailed out timely
- Analog Fees are reasonable - it gets you an annual vinyl single!
- Lottery entrance for tour tickets is worth the fee alone - because they always tour every year, and always do enough shows to meet demand
- Other merchandise sales are always reasonably priced, arrive on time, are high quality, and never broken in pieces

total ingrates!

Everytime someone complains about one of those things there is a rush to defend the band and management. It's just sad.
