Wma was a drum loop so not a first.tragabigzanda wrote:I'm actually thinking it's a sample of Matt's kick, with a pre-sampled snare96583UP wrote:

You Are guitars played through a drum machine.
I expect this is Matt playing, looped and then lots of post-processing. Feels like it's going to have a do the evolution vibe in terms of an ironically sung Dance song. Those leotard guys need to be in the video tho.
Two potentially non guitar-based songs in DOTC and River Cross. A first since Vitalogy?
While a Western guitar motif lost on the swings drum bass fusion, get your own thoughts into the subconscious often forgotten. "Pendulum" is a sweeping soul from the ballast.

I believe (and others better versed in this will correct me if wrong) but the guitars on You Are are played through that choppy How Soon Is Nowesque wave thingy, and the drums are purely drum machine.Blenheim Augustine wrote:You Are guitars played through a drum machine.tragabigzanda wrote:I'm actually thinking it's a sample of Matt's kick, with a pre-sampled snare96583UP wrote:

Original post is right; guitars through drum machine, Matt plays drums.

Re: Dance Of The Clairvoyants
there has been too much time now between the teasers and the full track
for a band most people don't care about they are really setting a high bar at this point
time to shit or get off the pot

Few bands have failed to adjust to the times like Pearl jam. They probably have some print media in Spin or RS next on the flow chart

Re: Dance Of The Clairvoyants
I had a restless feverish night (probably coming down with a cold) and during one of the stretches dreamed up the song in my mind.
The verse involved some loud rythmic breathing in place of lyrics, and the chorus contained the line "Could it beeeeee" stretched out really long.
All in all to my sleepy self it sounded like something David Bowie would write.
It was OK, but as irrelevant today as a Cardigans' song would be if they suddenly played in on the radio.
I'm sorry about all this, please carry on.

Re: Dance Of The Clairvoyants
Was there a post saying where it would debut? Maybe on Sirius? I can't remember and don't feel like searching through all the posts made in either thread.
