This stuff, combined with the fact that people are still waiting on singles and newsletters from years ago, makes me feel good about letting my membership lapse for good. Offering their tenth annual Halloween shirt or dog collar while paid-for merchandise goes unfulfilled is such a fuck you to fans. Just give album 10.5 as an exclusive 10c download so people feel like they got their money's worth, and close the club. Then release 10.5 everywhere six months later, obviously. The band clearly doesn't care about 10c, and I'd much rather them focus on making records that aren't a logical extension of anything.verb_to_trust wrote:Thanks Ten Club for all you doooooooooooooooo!!!NewKurtLeon wrote:I already e-mailed them, and they said that the problem would be solved and I wouldn`t be billed twice.verb_to_trust wrote:I cancelled mine. I know it’s primarily about tickets (though it’s largely of no benefit outside of the USA) but I also struggle to understand why people continue to support the 10C.Jessica Fletcher wrote:This stuff, combined with the fact that people are still waiting on singles and newsletters from years ago, makes me feel good about letting my membership lapse for good. Why on earth order the album through them instead of a retailer?

I think they care about 10c but only because it keeps Cheeto fingered fat slob Tim Beirman and others employed.

Honestly, the single only reason I’ve kept us is access to Vault orders, as ashamed of that as I am. Sure, I got tix through them the past few shows, but no idea if my seats would be better or similar through traditional routes.Birds in Hell wrote:I know it’s primarily about tickets (though it’s largely of no benefit outside of the USA) but I also struggle to understand why people continue to support the 10C.Jessica Fletcher wrote:This stuff, combined with the fact that people are still waiting on singles and newsletters from years ago, makes me feel good about letting my membership lapse for good. Ordering worldwide, common releases from them is mind boggling though.

For the record, I also don’t understand why anyone orders those Vault releases on vinyl.

Something I don’t get.
Pre orders and tickets both are more expensive via 10c. And that’s before the overcharge on postage.
No idea why people still engage and sign up for that

I don’t understand this either. I’ve been out of 10c for well over a decade with no regrets.Birds in Hell wrote: Why on earth order the album through them instead of a retailer?
Much rather give my money to Amoeba Music which is one of the last surviving record stores in CA.

Re: The Official GIGATON Thread (real tracklists released!)
I'm excited for this album moreso than I recall being excited for LB. Early signs are good as mentioned by others in the thread. It also could be that I now have a special lady friend that likes PJ and that's creating a hype train. Either way LB largely passed me by. I've probably listened to it fewer than 10 times. Although when I revisited it recently it seemed okay. I must have had low expectations from reading RM. Thanks RM for making LB a pleasant surprise.

I'm excited for the new album. There's a tracklist order. There's a slightly longer snippet of DOTC.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Travelling all day yesterday and busy with work all day today. Someone catch me up please.

basically there's a lot of miserable cunts here who seem to hate the band for the last 15 years or so. you know, fans.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Travelling all day yesterday and busy with work all day today. Someone catch me up please.
