i have both problems...i need to buy dark curtains..every god damn channel when you stream is at a different volume..i can barely hear msnbc but local abc blows the speakers out...fuck

I think it's because they're often grading in HDR, and if you don't have a proper setup in a totally dark room, it can get dim as fuck. When I saw Solo in the cinema I was sure there was something wrong with the projector it was so dark.
Nope. Got it at home and it’s just dark.
Seems to be a thing but Fuck knows what or why
