Awesome. Seems like the opening clip was very misleading. Still, some interesting sounds. Great track. Can't wait for the rest of the album. Everyone else on RM will probably hate it but hey...

One of the main problems with CDM, and a lot of latter day PJ songs (Let The Records Play being another prime example), is the vocal melody that Eddie has written. I remember someone describing LTRP chorus melody sounding like a gameshow theme and that really stuck with me. And of course CDM sounds like Beach Boys' Kokomo.

There's a cheesiness to the melodies. They're overly simplistic. Almost like nursery rhymes. I dunno if it's laziness or whatever, but it's a bad habit to pick up this late into his career.
