That was the most interesting guitar part ive heard from pearl jam in over a decade

What's interesting about it

Asking sincerely, as to me it sounds like a bog-standard attempt at funk guitar

They hit a little funk riff (a classic prince if you will) at the end of it, but up until the last bit it sounds rather....angular and dark? I also like the tone and rhythm.

Also, that being said, its just a small clip and i said MOST INTERESTING in over a decade. The last 2.5 pearl jam albums have been filled with very uninteresting guitar parts.

The tone sure but as far as the riff I'm getting more INXS "Suicide Blonde" vibes
