Biden’s gonna get massacred on his refusal to own his past. His flat denial of provable, more conservative historical stances creates a very coloring context for his moderate outreach. It has a lot of potential to cost him all his remaining momentum.

I still cannot believe anyone thinks Biden is the answer here. It's astonishing.

His NYT interview was a national tragedy, and his readiness for office diminishes daily. It’d have to be a choice between him and Pete Buttigieg before I’d favor Biden.JuanHamm wrote:I still cannot believe anyone thinks Biden is the answer here. It's astonishing.

Is this the thing Sanders issued an apology on?

No. He apologized for an article written by a surrogate accusing Biden of corruption.

Re: Election 2020
“: CNN asked if Dems wld feel enthusiastic-or-satisfied vs disatisfied-or-upset if a candidate won
Biden: 72% vs 26% (upset: 9%)
Sanders: 77% vs 23% (upset: 10%)
Warren: 72% vs 24% (upset: 7%)
For Nov., this isn't the splintered party we read about, incl. for Sanders.”
I personally feel pessimistic about a Joe Biden candidacy, might actually be in the “upset” category. But Dems have a solid top 3, I guess, and things aren’t so dramatic.
