--Bottom 4th, 4-3 Tigers: I'm not really expecting a win as Rick Sutcliffe comments that Papi's timing may be off...and then he gets interrupted midsentence by a crushed ball.
--Bottom 5th, 4-4: Getting ready to go to a bar to meet up for MGMT. A thunderstorm hits, so I decide to hang around for Pedroia's at bat. He battles for a long time before getting the go-ahead RBI. Feeling better.
--Bottom 6th, 5-4 Red Sox: Get to the bar, wait for people, and I'm fortunate enough to find the game on TV. Before I know it, bases get loaded quickly. I see Carp get a bases loaded walk, and then Middlebrooks crushes the grand slam. At 10-4, I say, "that's game", and go into the show.
--Getting home after MGMT: Decide to cool down after an awesome show by reading some news. On the Yahoo feed, I see that the Red Sox won
20-4. I thought, "no way, that has to be a typo, they meant 10-4", but I was wrong.
I just hope this isn't the type of game that the Tigers remember if they face each other in the playoffs.
