Long time lurker, very seldom post here but I’ve enjoying reading the board...anyways, for what it’s worth, I think this is a pretty awesome surprise and it gets better with each listen. My expectations were pretty low for this one.

my wife has always "liked" pearl jam as a courtesy to me. she enjoys going to shows, but has zero interest in any of the albums that have been released since we've been together (S/T, BS, and LB). when she heard DOTC today for the first time, she legitimately enjoyed it, and couldn't believe it was PJ. she said now she has a song to shake her ass to when we see them in Denver.

Ass shaking is always a plus. But really? What does it take for pj to produce such a result? 4/4 mechanical beat with predictable chord structure. Play some f****** Billie eilish and watch your wife really dance! Pearl Jam fans are worse than Trump heads

I can understand not listening to leaks but avoiding an officially released lead single seems dumb to me.
