First purchase of the year was an off the wall purchase. An OG copy of Nirvana's BLEW ep. I've been on the hunt a copy for years!

Someone needs to repress Alice In Chains' self-titled record; I mean, what the fuck?

Yeah. Best artwork in their catalog and the most satisfying front to back listen for my money.

What a great haul!Rangi Guy wrote:My latest haul
I recently purchased It Still Moves (the deluxe reissue) and Marcus Kong’s El Dorado on vinyl. Still haven’t had time to crack those open yet.

According to the spreadsheet on my computer that I consider gospel, I have 994 items in my record collection. I have 4 things on order currently. There's an outside chance Gigaton will be my 1000th piece (but I should get my tax return and my company stock options before the end of March, so probably not).

P.S. the 993rd piece was Purple Mountains and the 994th was the half-speed remaster of Silver Jews' American Water.

I was a bit underwhelmed by it, honestly. Good songs, but the production is kind of a mess. How about you?LetMeSleep wrote:What did you think of the last HGM album?ghost wrote:Took advantage of a gift card I got for Xmas

Fell flat for me. Bit one dimensional. Much prefer the Heart and HallelujahA.ghost wrote:I was a bit underwhelmed by it, honestly. Good songs, but the production is kind of a mess. I guess there is a yellow one too? I just saw the 500 press disappearing yesterday and didn't want anyone to miss out. The track up on Bandcamp sounds wonderful.bodysnatcher wrote:Thanks verb!

I would have gotten that one too if I had initially noticed it. Oh well, take my extra $3 BtS. I don't even remember the shows they played with Daniel but his songs definitely will push BtS towards their perkier side that I tend to enjoy.bodysnatcher wrote:I grabbed the yellow one, all fine and dandy with me.
