Oh yeah. I thought for a second you had completely transformed into a total beast. You still could.

Always working hard at getting better. I felt pretty good with my pace considering I'm running up mountains in the winter. But my lungs were not great today. It had been almost a month since my last run. It's gonna be super warm here for a week or two though so I will make the most of it.

I ran 11 half marathons in 2019. Great running year for me. My shit is tuned up better than ever.

I'm glad you're dominating bro.

I've had a lot of consistency with double digit long days on Sundays. Tomorrow I'm planning to do 13. More if I feel it. Monday is my shoulder scope so i'll be on the shelf for about 6 weeks. That will be a unique challenge as I haven't had to bounce back from an extended break in quite a while.

It's that time of year again where I get a hankering to start running.

A new shoe purchase usually gets me going, but this year I'm thinking of keeping it below $60.

Anyone have a lead on some quality budget shoes?

After some research, this feels like a great deal. I think I might try them out. I've always worn Brooks but it's time for a change.

Do these sizes run normal? I'm a 10.5 in Brooks but sometimes I'm a 10 (Asics, Keds, some dress shoes.)

I almost ordered the women's.

Adidas's website is as easy as Amazon Prime. Free shipping too. This is awesome.

Hope they get here before the bad weather does. I have no running shoes right now. Not even some burner sneaks.

I looked yesterday at them and was surprised there are more female options, even a wide model in pink I couldn't figure out the gender for. Hope you like them but I returned through Adidas once and it was pretty painless.

You might call the ones I ordered "pink", but they're actually orange with an off white overlay.

How long have you been running on Bostons, verb? I consider you the RM spokesperson for that shoe.

I had the same pair. I was a big fan of the colorway. Running shoes are supposed to look a bit over the top. I retired them around 400 miles. I have multiple 7s I do prefer. I think the 8 is better for a more casual runner as it's less locked down and more spongey feeling.

I've been in Boston's since the 5 I think. The 8 was a big redesign and although it was a good enough shoe I found myself searching for 7s after i retired the 8s. Hopefully you get some good miles out of them. I know run2d and Dev have also run in them.

My physical therapist gave me a 10/12 week timeline to returning to running at my initial appointment yesterday. Will you be a Strava ghost again by the time I get back?
