'Gigaton' is the logical extension of 'Binaural'

it's a fun word though, and it's okay for pearl jam to be fun sometimes.

yeah

and it's also a word that's been around for a while

to think such a stupid comment would be the first one made underneath such an earth-shattering, insightful comment

so i will try this again:

GIGATON IS THE LOGICAL EXTENSION OF BINAURAL

get ready for it

Anyways, I said all that so I could say this. Gonna See My Friend is a great little tune. Poor Ed can't sing it live but I forgot what a good opener it is.
It's a great little rev up opener.

I had to do a lot of mindless work today so I took the opportunity to get back into pearl jam. I listened to Ten, Vs, Riot Act, and Lightning Bolt. All great albums in their way.

Looking at the length of each track...so long... it’s an album full of nothing as it seems

I would be thrilled if there is one song as good as NAIS. I like that song more and more every time I listen to it.

It's top tier PJ. Top of the summit for me. That territory and Tremor Christ territory should be mined some more.

Gonna See My Friend is terrible, like most of Backspacer.

I just listened to it yesterday and I feel the same way. Never appreciated it back then, not even in recent years... Damn, it's good.

It's also amazing live. Actually, when they nail it live it's easily one of their best songs.

Okay
I'm ready for the other 5 insightful comments you'll no doubt be editing your p. 641 place holders with.

I finally stopped internally saying Gigatron. I'm cool with Gigaton now but, still, Gigatron would create superior concept art.
