the buzz about this really has died down

they should have partnered with some badass world class DJ for a killer remix to really get the sales machine going

wow. this is arguably better than the PJ version. real guitar sounds. almost like early chili peppers. and more feel in the drums.

can this singer replace ed?

This guy is not a good singer. This cover is intensely mediocre.

How is DOTC doing in terms of interest/plays/views? Are their any charts that could help determine this? I feel like the song has captured "something" beyond the Jamily but that could be me projecting.

Just a sample, but, Mach II vid currently standing at approximately 378,000 views on their official Youtube channel; essentially the equivalent of the pink-haired hippie girl who sits in her room, in front of her woodstock logo guitars, and reviews Star Trek episodes.

Mach 1 at 1.1M after a week.

It's a differn't world out there. I'm still not entirely sure how social media numbers are an effective indication of anything in terms of genuine interest these days.
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…
