Are they playing SNL tho?Coach wrote:I don't care much about Pearl Jam playing live anymore.
I'll take more songs like Dance and hopefully better albums over their ability to pull off anything live.
I'm sure the SNL performance will satisfy.

SNL and the host should be Bernie Sanders

Was it common around 94 for bands to play 3 songs on snl? Or was it a pearl jam only thing? Id love to see them play 3 again...if they play snl

Re: Dance of the Clairvoyants
i've always thought they were given 3 songs because they had no content for that episode. it's one of the all time worst snl episodes i've ever seen.

is this because you dont want to go to concerts anymore? its just a weird thought considering pearl jam's career has largely been built around their live shows.Coach wrote:I don't care much about Pearl Jam playing live anymore.

Im not sure if its what Coach was saying, but for me, i want to see them live when i can but would rather have 2 more albums then another 7 years of touring for this one.warehouse wrote:is this because you dont want to go to concerts anymore? its just a weird thought considering pearl jam's career has largely been built around their live shows.Coach wrote:I don't care much about Pearl Jam playing live anymore.

I want to see Pearl Jam live but without new music it loses its point over 7 years hearing the same songs over and over. I still enjoy it but I have always preferred seeing them when they have new material to play. Maybe that’s what people are getting at?

Thats part of it for me, but also knowing they could decide they are done in the not too distant future makes me hope there are more albums in them before they are done.liebzz wrote:I want to see Pearl Jam live but without new music it loses its point over 7 years hearing the same songs over and over. Re: Dance of the Clairvoyants
100%...i haven't seen them live in 7 years. They are coming here in March but of course im out of town that weekend. With family, job and all that other fun stuff the opportunity to travel just to see a Pearl Jam show are few and far between. At this point i'd MUCH rather get new albums than another greatest hits tour.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:Im not sure if its what Coach was saying, but for me, i want to see them live when i can but would rather have 2 more albums then another 7 years of touring for this one.warehouse wrote:is this because you dont want to go to concerts anymore? its just a weird thought considering pearl jam's career has largely been built around their live shows.Coach wrote:I don't care much about Pearl Jam playing live anymore.
