I have a vague recollection of maybe buying this while I was in the lobby of the arena in Fargo ND listening to the sound check in 2003? We’re they selling it at shows then or ?

Love this DVD, and much prefer it to the Garden DVD. My college age self flew into Seattle for the Key Arena shows with a friend and the area was abuzz with the fact that these shows happened the previous two nights.

Stone is super reserved; I wonder how he looks back on this period? Might have to double check the PJ20 book.

I remember watching Blood in Key Arena two/three days after this and being really appreciative of how strong the band was twelve years into their career. After the 2000 post-roskilde tour uncertainty they were in the process of cementing their resolve to continue on. Great time in PJ fandom; maybe the highlight for me.

about halfway through this show. good show. can definitely tell it's a warm up show. but, still love the sound of this band from that era so much.

I agree, that is definitely a very good version of Half Full .

Two takeaways I remember from this, though haven't seen it in a while; one, is that for all that Pearl Jam is (rightfully) lauded is a big arena rock act, able to pull off shows with big audiences in big venues, they're an outstanding club act. They can really thrive in a small setting, and it's a shame they don't do it more often, even though it could never be the only thing they do.

The other is that Matt Cameron is outstanding on this show. For whatever reason, he really stuck out to me when I saw it. He pretty much takes Save You on his back and makes it the best version of that song they've ever played, IMO.

Short haired, collared shirt Eddie definitely can be taken much more seriously when he has his anti-Republican axe to grind.
