That was beautiful...if you omit the bonehead touchback. That was a facepalm moment if I've ever seen one.

Oh yes, my only complaint is Decker still can't catch the ball. He'll lose touches in this offense if he does that again and he won't be back since he's a free agent after the season.

Re: Denver Broncos
I'm pleasantly surprised. I had one of those "I don't know about this one" feelings in my gut leading up to tonight. They definitely had to knock off a little rust to start the game, but this passing attack is fucking scary. Other than the "Desean" Trevathan hiccup (leading to the Ravens TD) that second half was total domination. PFM Baby.

Defensive players don't get those opportunities that often. I'm sure Trevathan shamed himself immediately after that happened. Other than that, he played a hell of a game. Can't kill him too much overall.kahli sana wrote:That was beautiful...if you omit the bonehead touchback. That was a facepalm moment if I've ever seen one.
And on that note, that hit Rahim Moore put on Dallas Clark was awesome. A good play to get him back in my good graces.
Also, only winners get wings.

I'm a big Decker fan but he did have a bad night tonight. One game doesn't make a season though. Nonetheless, I still have a feeling that no matter what happens he's leaving after this season.scrub12 wrote:Oh yes, my only complaint is Decker still can't catch the ball. It's easy to forgive it when it had no impact on the game. It did look like he was arguing with del Rio afterwards when he should have been just apologizing profusely. He did have a great game overall, though. The D stepped up big time.Green Habit wrote:Defensive players don't get those opportunities that often. I'm rooting for Moore to have a great season. It would suck to have one play define your career. It'll always be a footnote, but I hope the next thing they write about him in the history books about him is "but he came back for the 2013 season with a chip on his shoulder, as though he had something to prove - and prove himself is exactly what he did."

Re: Denver Broncos
I certainly hope that's the case. See, my beef with Moore is that he had a disastrous rookie season, and then he got to the point where he wasn't making big plays but at least not fucking up until that one play that has (perhaps unfairly) defined himself thus far. I will give him credit, they brought in competition this training camp and he beat it out fair and square. Keep up the good work each week.kahli sana wrote:It's easy to forgive it when it had no impact on the game. I know that they have ten days to prepare, but I'm still fearful that they'll lose to NYG next week.i got bugs wrote:19-0

Re: Denver Broncos
Awful news. From what I'm gathering, the best case scenario is that he'll be back for the playoffs. I'm not too familiar with Chris Clark but this is one of those strange situations where a holding call on the LT won't exactly bother me for the next few games. Having Alex Gibbs around makes me feel a little better though.Green Habit wrote:FUCK

The way I read it, that would be the worst case scenario. A best case would be getting him back after the bye. But who knows, I'm sure they're keeping it close to the best.MitchCumstein wrote:Awful news. From what I'm gathering, the best case scenario is that he'll be back for the playoffs. Well, I know nothing--out for the year!
This is really bad news. This will almost certainly take away the tight end from scoring a lot of points because he'll need to be part of a double team block. Good thing that DT, Decker, and Welker are awesome.

Well more important than Superbowl aspirations, is my fantasy team. I need these remaining guys to protect Manning. Thanks.

I don't know if I'd go that far...yet. Hopefully he was just covering up recreational drug usage.Peeps wrote:hes no better than braun or arodGreen Habit wrote:Well, I guess Von did deserve his six game suspension...
