If you crank the volume while Ford is speaking you can hear the original organ part playing underneath it. The vocal part at the end sounds like it could be a bridge or coda.

sounded like the organ melody was different as well as the vocal

Didn’t they already say they used the original demo from Ed for the album and just added to it? It starts to sound a little different after 15 seconds or so but I’ve been wondering how this song ends up around 5:50 or whatever when Ed’s versions are like 3:30.
