I like how people cheer like they won something instead of being horrified that this is really how we decide our leaders.

So basically, progressives did really well, and the moderate who was successful was the one who has much less momentum in upcoming primary states. Meanwhile, the process was flubbed in a way that only encourages people to consider that the operating party establishment is not the answer to their prayers, which itself is...also a boon to progressives.

Agree, this was a win for the progs.

If there is hope, it lies in the progs. If there was hope, it MUST lie in the progs, because only there in those swarming disregarded masses, could the force to destroy the Party ever be generated.

Hypothetically, if Biden really does fail (too early to say), it is plausible that Bernie & Warren are best positioned. Klobuchar isn’t going anywhere and Pete is going to hit a wall after NV. Bloomberg/Biden could split the moderate vote on Super Tuesday, finish 3/4, and we could be looking at the 2 progressives 1-2. They’re strong after that. Just a thought. And I’m not sure who wins. Warren would become the last “stop Bernie” possibility. Sort of like that “let’s unite around Rubio 2016” which never happened, but might be possible?

Either way, good night for Bernie & Pete. Decent for Warren. Easy to see the same top 3 next Tuesday, which would be significant.

I think Pete's best chance would be to partner with Bloomberg. Pete spent a lot of time in Iowa, but I don't think that popularity will carry over in the same proportions to CA or NY or some of the Super Tuesday states the same way as Iowa, where he basically camped out for months.

Sanders + Warren could be an unstoppable force. Which would mean the next best move is Biden droppng out for 'health reasons' after his funding dries up and instead delicately pledging his support behind Bloomy / Butti

setting up for the no-holds barred Ultra-Prog vs. Alt-Moderate showdown we all crave and badly need to sort this out
