I was trying to remember what Tiberius sounded like and realized I don't think I ever listened to Monuments To An Elegy. I guess I should give it a spin.

You dont have to really. Its a very subpar album from Billy.

yeah, there are a few inspired songs. But the production is awful. And i just cant past Billy´s bored singing....he is so much better with whatever Rick Rubin told him to do.
had nothing to do on saturday night so took a flier and got some cheap lawn tickets to the pumpkins show at merriweather. walked in expecting to just sing along to some 90s oasis and SP songs and didnt really expect much but SP were a pleasant surprise. the 3rd guitarist was a shredder and corgan and iha were impressive as well. now im dusting off siamese dream and melancholy. i forgot how good these albums were!
Remember when you were young, You shone like the sun. Now there's a look in your eyes, Like black holes in the sky.

Glad you have a good time. Yeah, Jeff is something else...the best thing of the two pumpkins shows i saw. I hope i can see this band live soon.
Listened to Oceania for the first time since probably it's release. I like the way the album sounds. I barely listen to lyrics so they could be dog shit but the music is pretty good.
I actually respect them for trying to rewrite the narrative of the Shiny Bright dumpster album by saying they weren't really trying. I bet this one will still suck too though.
Mellon Collie is soooooo good but why did they jam "We Only Come out at Night", "Beautiful", and "Lily" right next to each other at the end of the album? What a deflating, weird stretch, especially coming after 23 mostly stellar songs in a row.
