I'll continue trying to grasp a mental picture of this. Thanks for the challenge.
he'll be selling $28 sticker sets depicting his melting homeland
if you look at it really closely
in one of the stickers you can see ed's netjets flying overhead on the way to the superbowl
chris chelios can be seen waving hi to the drowning polar bear pups through the window
it's quite a sticker

I am shocked by how few people have written about the album given it has been played at a listening party already. Some more first impressions would help. Another single would too.
I need something! March 27 is too far away.
You answered your own point with the last sentence. If they start writing about it now, the hype will be fatigued by late March. Articles will start being written and more info will leak a couple of weeks before release.
Isn't that how you keep the hype going, by releasing little snippets of music/info every week or so? Not asking for the band to release five singles, just one (or two) more will do but we could at least have a few more impressions from the listening party. Those wouldn't give too much away, just pique the interest of the fans.

Exactly my point. Either the announcement should have come closer to the release date or they need to keep doing something to keep the interest alive. Otherwise, the excitement will be dying down rather than building close to release.
Notice how I unconsciously used two song titles from Ten in the above paragraph. Perhaps that bodes well for this album given I still love Ten.

Or maybe ed just wants to surf and make millions. Maybe he justed needed some fuel for album angst and really thinks al gore is a boring goon. Maybe if given a chance he would set fire to an iceburg with a giant blow torch and let his pet wolf superblood devour a multitude of drowning polar bear pups under the light of a full moon.
I pledge to be 100% boring and never troll-out again. I will make my interactions here pleasant, like sitting through an agricultural economics class.

It all fits together doesn't it? The folklore tale of eds native american grandmother pearl and her mysterious "psychedelic jam". His pet wolf superblood is the offspring of Pearl's wolf.

Ed has Zoosadism and he's been getting off on feeding animals to Superblood (as in super longeivity resulting from a native american ritual) for years. What do you think the sheep on the Vs cover was running from? What was the song Pilate really hinting to? Alas, ed writes his confession in a song and will bring superblood on stage, on a "leash" which he will 'accidentally...' "drop".

clearly Boom is the love-child of Ed and the pet wolf

Really surprised reviews for the album haven’t started popping up, surely there are samplers etc out there by now.
Do we think they are going to hit the interview circuit soon? Their strategy is a bit all over the place
They generated some good buzz on the back of DOTC but if the second single tanks, they’ve undermined everything good hype wise they had going for them.
Should’ve struck while the iron was hot, not go with this antiquated way of releasing
Music.
But it is their album, I just want to read about it and hear it long before March 27th

Are you 96583UP's second account?
I think i can get behind this. It seems like an easy way to build clout around here. Alter ego, are you ok with the idea?

SNL announced two new musical guests for Feb 29 and March 7 and neither are PJ. With their tour, the only date that could maybe work is 3/14 or after the tour, I guess.

David Byrne is totally a fake-out and it's just Pearl Jam playing DotC twice.
