I think their promotional machine is really disorganized. They do a mini ARG to announce the album, and decide to release the single at the end of it. They also wanted to do a video for it, but it wasn't ready by the time they wanted to do the announcement, so instead of waiting a couple weeks, they figure, "fuck it," and decide to release some in progress versions of the video before all the footage is edited together.

see, the whole thing would have been much more stylish if they'd just admitted that that's what they were doing: "join us in the process of creating a video"; they could've invited audience feedback, but no, they had to fake the slick presentation of an underwhelming "reveal"

lol this sequence of videos was such a joke

embarrassing this whole thing

they should have just stuck with Mach I and called it a day

this doest bode well for the rest of the album imo

it shows they are still capable of making obvious, needless, self-inflicted mistakes of judgement

and now what

another single with another 6 videos to fill the void of the next TWO MONTHS

is it customary to release a single 3 months before the album?

i don’t think people have the attention span for that these days

tired of this song already. it sounds more sterile every listen

They should! And despite this album not being self titled, it should be nicknamed "dicks" , as S/T was nicknamed avocado. Or at least this song should be.
