Adam Sandler acting in Uncut Gems impressed me more than Phoenix Joker. I guess because Sandler character feels much more plausiable.

This year's crop of nominees is the bleakest I've ever seen. It would be nice to see Delroy Lindo get an Oscar, but other than that, I truly don't care about any of this stuff. I guess this decline will make it easier to stop watching the ceremony when it transitions to YouTube TV in a few years (
