it's actually really easy if you already have a passport. which is dumb because if you have a passport why tf would you get a real ID.

also to be fair I had a DD214 and I had just gotten my W2 so between the two plus the passport that's most of the requirements.

The SS office is scarier than the DMV, I'll give you that. It only took me 10 minutes, Doug. I have AAA, so I was able to do it there instead of the DMV, but still. Be brave for us.
