R.E.M. never even made a front-to-back good album, let alone an excellent one.

You can’t name a bad Matt Cameron record. It can’t be done. They are all excellent.verb_to_trust wrote:But a band that farted out LB and BS are? Lots of bands and artists here that don't fit the description. R.E.M or Pearl Jam doesn't either, but they are still two of the most consistent bands around. If R.E.M and Pearl Jam both quit in the mid 90s, they would have been perfect additions.

I am sure I would get a lot of argument about this but My Morning Jacket might fit. The Tennessee Fire, Evil Urges, and The Waterfall might be places of argument here, but I could make the case for each of them being excellent.

Pay attention. No, they aren't. But BS and LB are better than at least 5 REM albums. So...verb_to_trust wrote:But a band that farted out LB and BS are? At the end of the day, Binaural, Riot Act and Avocado were all let downs as well, just less so that the two most garbage releases.

Life Wasted is excellent.
If having mostly excellent songs is a requirement for an album being excellent , wouldnt binaural not be excellent since most of those songs are solid instead of excellent?
I pledge to be 100% boring and never troll-out again. I will make my interactions here pleasant, like sitting through an agricultural economics class.
