Jesus Christ Grimes is incredible. What a song. No one else knows how to transmute the deeply-ingrained sounds of millennial nostalgia into a fresh, contemporary pop aesthetic like her. Magnificent.

I’m trying to figure out how this fits into the broader “sound” of the new album. It doesn’t necessarily flow into Violence, but may work nonetheless.

I've been listening to Selling England By The Pound lately, and I somewhat agree. There are some cool moments for sure, and some really good musicianship, but it's just not for me. Maybe I'll come around later, but for now I feel like I need some RAWK after Gabriel era Genesis.
