This was my reaction too.bodysnatcher wrote:This was exactly my first reaction. There’s a charm in the clip that feels like they are having fun with the song, in a way that many of their b-sides do.. Hitchhiker, U, All Night, Black Red Yellow. Something about this feels really fun, and I’m digging it. Really liking Ed’s vocals here.Mike wrote:Sounds like something that would fit on the first disc of Lost Dogs...in a good way. Not what I expected at all.

If McP is still on board after this clip we're really gonna have to start calling ourselves The Jamily.

I don’t think it’s a long clip. It’s a 16 second snippet looped twice so it sounds longer.

I don’t recall ever reading that impression from anyone. Maybe I just missed it.RAG319 wrote:Didn't someone who was at the album listening party say one thing that wasn't great about the new record was that some of the songs overstay their welcome?stip wrote:clip is in the main post. Yes, Like tea flavor had a rolling collision with crunch n munch. The perfect mid day snack.
I pledge to be 100% boring and never troll-out again. I will make my interactions here pleasant, like sitting through an agricultural economics class.

I think this just depends on the individual, but I know what RAG319 means - and I worry about stuff like this. I love longer songs but if the last 2-3 minutes of a 5-6 min long song is just repeating itself, I struggle to make it to the end.Ms Harmless wrote:nahRAG319 wrote:yeah, but if they're just vamping to vamp then could get boring.Ms Harmless wrote:I think that's a silly thing to say, I feel like it's Christmas having a record that's 57 mins longRAG319 wrote:Didn't someone who was at the album listening party say one thing that wasn't great about the new record was that some of the songs overstay their welcome?stip wrote:clip is in the main post. Depends on how good the repeating section is.

Re: Superblood Wolfmoon
well we've ascertained that this clip is actually only 16 seconds so we're OK
lots of songs loop and meander on Riot Act and I love every second ("Help Help" springs to mind)

Sounds intriguing..the good part is Ed´s delivery for sure. The guitars has some tasty to it too...and yeah, there could be a groove there too...
