Long song described as a straight ahead rocker. Makes me also wonder how repetitive it is because it doesnt seem to be structured for a long guitar solo. I guess theres heavy reverb in part of the vocals, which sounds cool.
I pledge to be 100% boring and never troll-out again. I will make my interactions here pleasant, like sitting through an agricultural economics class.

Didn't someone who was at the album listening party say one thing that wasn't great about the new record was that some of the songs overstay their welcome?
I don’t recall ever reading that impression from anyone. Maybe I just missed it.
I misrepresented the comment. Not overstay their welcome but "linger".

Depends on what the person ate? A marshmellow fart could be a good thing?

Have to say I'm fond of a lingering fart too. My own anyway. :)

The ellipsis before linger didn't exactly read like a positive to me.

Hmmm, I was expecting a different kind of rocker more akin to the last few albums. Pleasantly surprised it doesn’t sound like that. The snippet has a nice little groove and Ed’s tone is Hitchhikery...basically sounds like Sad and Hitchhiker had an illegitimate love child. Tuesday should be fun :hooray:

that would be a different story. I thought it was looped the first time I heard it but that audio link sounded of a piece to me

there's a point where the vocals cut off at "Super Blood" and it loops back to the very sparse guitar on the intro

It’s very straightforward.
Verse chorus verse chorus bridge guitar solo chorus.

Who ever said has more twists and turns.

Definitely looped. Can hear the Superblood part getting cut off at about the 18 second mark.

It starts over again at “Super Blood” and then the clip ends at “Super Blood”, so I definitely think its the same snippet looped twice.
