the climax in LB is one of the hands-down worst moments in the entire catalog. Not only does it never achieve anything, but the mix so so crowded that it's a wall of indiscriminate noise, with what sounds like Matt hitting some cardboard boxes in the background. Just awful.
they're floor toms and I actually really like them

Fade out Nothing As It Seems halfway through the first chorus and it would leave me wanting more, but I wouldn't call that a successful fade-out.

This is the most frustrating fade out I’ve ever heard. Hill Farmer’s Blues by Mark Knopfler. Such a beautiful song and right when you think he’s about to take off in quintessential Knopfler fashion, it fades. Some fade outs that leave you wanting more are good and some are not.

Every sentence in my head, someone else has said.
