watched the first episode of Crisis on Infinite Earths last night and wow, I remember why we stopped watching these shows.

I very lightly entertain the hope of "six seasons and a movie" fever gripping Graham Yost but then I see some tv shows that came back with a movie entry and I realize it's for the best.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I go through short bursts of remembering how much I love Father Ted and feverishly watching a bunch of episodes, before forgetting about the show for another couple years. One of the few sitcoms that still elicits huge belly laughs from me.
