Listened again when I got home today and heard a Sonic Deducer-like cadence to the couplet.

Sonic Reducer...ain't no loser

Superblood Wolfmoon...took her away to soon

More syllables squeezed into a similar phrasing.

it's like the guitar and vocals are dirtier, but the drums may as well be a track ripped from the same sessions
These sound vaguely like actual drums, which is a marked departure from Brendan’s production on either of the last two records.

i want the drum sounds from Riot Act. Thats the best Matt has sounded on a PJ album IMO

Its ok, dont buy into my end time prophecy. No one listened to Noah either.

Superblood wolfmoon took her (mother earth) away too soon!
I pledge to be 100% boring and never troll-out again. I will make my interactions here pleasant, like sitting through an agricultural economics class.

KidC- already said it’s the mid-song breakdown, didn’t he?

I think this is a "listen a couple of times and then forget about it until the song comes out" kind of clip. Obsessing about what part of the song it is or what Ed is saying will surely lead to disappointment.

Ah.

I think we can at least be assured it’s not the chorus, anyway.

one way of tempering expectations might be to remember that one of the songs features a refrain of "feel the sound"
