Im not great at spotify, like for instance, everything i listen to is on shuffle play and i cant seem to find an option to turn that off. But with my track record with technology, im sure i just looked right past it

If I’m doing this it’s gonna be burning songs from iTunes. I haven’t purchased much new music in the last 4 years. An album or a single here and there, but not much. Maybe LMS hasn’t bought new music since 2016?

Should be able to, yes. You can either download the stand alone client, or in the browser with Spotify Web Player. They'll have ads of course, but that's not a major issue.
