This is the Pearl Jam fan base in 2020, relating their discomfort in a Pearl Jam discussion to the stories we read our kids. I’m right there with you.
i never thought the first 4 albums could be subject to this

it’s like how Einstein must have felt when they used the A-bomb to kill people

it wasn’t meant to be used that way

nothing from Ten, Vs., Vitalogy, or No Code can be considered a ‘Spritzy Punker’

when i coined this concept it was specifically directed as an insult to aging pearl jam trying to act young and sounding terrible

Yield was the first album in which the band can first be considered ‘old’

and good luck nominating any of those songs from Yield <makes sheeshy exhaling sound>

let’s stick to when Ed’s hairline started receding
It's Platys post so he gets to make the rules...and he didn't make any rules so away we go
I'm happy to just start a conversation

When I invented the term "spritzy punker", I was imagining upbeat, "happy" sounding tracks like "Supersonic" and "Big Wave", but I'm happy to let you all build on what I started

‘Pearl Jam’s Worst Spritzy Punker’

i think we could scrape out a decent size chunk of candidates
