I'd like to walk this back. I've come to really appreciate avocados over the last several years, mainly for their role in Mexican food. I still wouldn't eat just avocado on toast

What were you eating them with before?

Avocados play a (in my opinion, extraneous) role in a lot of traditional Colombian meals such as bandeja paisa and sancocho, as well as being eaten straight up with a spoon. No thanks
