Also, I saw The World's End at the movies tonight! It was hilarious!
It was on Netflix for the longest time. But it was dubbed which I just cannot watch.

Hence my " Fuck you, Netflix!" I don't understand why they only have a dubbed version. It's crazy to me.

Boooring. WTF happened with good action movies?? Horrible, horrible movie.
Really? I keep looking at this in the video store and part of me thinks that an Arnold flick would be a good watch after so long....

Im a huge Arnold fan, and i was really bored the whole movie. The cast didnt help and the direction was very very poor, which was really upsetting because this guy is the fuckin Kim Jee-Woon man, director of I saw the devil.

i saw it with another friend, both of us drunk so the setting for the movie was perfect...and it was fucking boring.

Well at least now I don't feel like I've missed out on anything having looked over this one when I saw it. Some of the local reviews said it was alright, but then again the other day I saw a review of the Blu-ray of the last Die Hard - saying that it was best one since the original, so I don't know what to believe

The last Die Hard was an abomination. It made the 4th one an absolute masterpiece.

I had no issues with the 4th one, but walked out of the latest one just wondering 'What the fuck did I just watch?' Why did they need to rape the memory of John McClane?

Oh right, sorry.

I don't understand either. All of the other awesome Asian films I've seen on Netflix have subtitles.

Kings of Summer...I really liked it, reminded me of Stand by Me, and made me feel nostalgic for when I was that age.

The Grapes of Wrath. A lot better than I remembered. A LOT BETTER. The old-school cinematography with a mix of stages and locations was great. The look of the movie really matched the tone and theme. Loved the shots of the truck on desolate roads. Henry Honda is spectacular. He will never get the credit he deserves because his performances were so understated.

I might just go on a John Ford spree.

Great movie that got no publicity whatsoever. Totally dug Biaggio.

Th Descendants:
watched this over the weekend and thought it was good to very good - I like George Clooney but find him kind of repetitive... this movie didn't strike me that way at all - good weekend movie.

Thanks for the tip. I saw that it's on Netflix Streaming and I was debating whether or not it was worth my time.
I didn't really like Dredd, some of the action was good but I didn't care for the story at all. The one positive thing I will say is that it was one of the better movies to watch with surround sound.
I didn't care for the drug thing, but I appreciated the stripped down story (and budget). It would be nice if the sequel gets greenlit.
I enjoyed this. Better than 95% of the other superhero movies at about half the budget. The Slo-Mo sequences were cool and Lena Headey was great. Says a lot about the American movie-going public that this only made $13M here.

Well, following the Sly Stallone atrocity didn't do it any favors.

Saw Drinking Buddies last weekend. Really good, cool film. The first really good movie I've seen in a long time. Good writing, tone, character development and everyone displayed a very unique level of chemistry.

I liked it...it seems like a honest movie, and i loved their relationship. Also the end was pretty cool.
